Itinerary

Day 1: Cusco – Maras – Moray – Misminay

We begin the adventure at 7:00 a.m. with pickup from your hotel in Cusco. As we leave the city, the landscape opens up before you: majestic valleys framed by the imposing Chicón (5,530 m), Salkantay (6,271 m), and Verónica (5,860 m) mountains, visible from the Raqchi (3,700 m) viewpoint.
Our first stop is Maras, home to the famous Salineras: thousands of crystalline salt pools that shimmer in the sun, a legacy dating back to the Inca era. We then visit Moray, an ancient Inca agricultural laboratory made up of circular terraces that reveal ancient cultivation wisdom.
At noon, we arrive in Misminay (3,700 m), where you will be greeted with traditional music and dance, a warm welcome that connects body and spirit. Enjoy a homemade Andean lunch prepared with fresh, local ingredients.
In the afternoon, a short hike takes you to the Waninmarca viewpoint, from where you'll enjoy breathtaking panoramas of the Sacred Valley and the Moray terraces. As night falls, by the ancestral fire, the community's wise men will share stories and myths about the Apus, the spiritual guardians of the mountains.

Day 2: Misminay – Return to Cusco

Wake up to the aroma of quinoa and native grains and enjoy a nutritious and simple breakfast. Then, join local farmers and participate in traditional crafts, experiencing firsthand the rhythm and respect that Andean culture has for the earth and Pachamama.
Later, meet the Misminay weavers, artisans who transform alpaca wool into fine textiles using natural dyes and ancient techniques, an art passed down from generation to generation.
Finally, enjoy an Andean stew prepared with locally harvested produce before bidding farewell to this warm community and returning to Cusco in the afternoon, taking with you not only memories but a deep connection to the culture and spirituality of the Andes.
