Policies and Terms of Service

All policies established by the company are designed to ensure efficient, transparent, and customer-oriented service.

SGA Expeditions is committed to fully satisfying all needs that may arise during the provision of our services. We offer complete guidance for each trip or tour, supported by highly trained personnel with extensive experience in tourism and transportation.

1. Tourism Services

The tour operator reserves the right to modify itineraries, travel dates, hotels, or transportation services for others of equal or higher category when such changes improve the quality of the trip or are necessary to guarantee the success of the tour.

Entrance fees to museums, transportation (land or air), shows, national parks, attractions, and meals are included only when explicitly stated in the purchased itinerary.

The company is responsible only for the services and content included in the tourism packages offered by the official tour operator.

All prices and rates are subject to change, availability, and validity without prior notice. Hotel rates depend on the selected accommodation and travel dates.

All luggage and personal belongings are the sole responsibility of the traveler. The company is not liable for loss, theft, deterioration, damage, or unlawful acts involving luggage.

The company is not responsible for legal issues or other inconveniences in which the traveler may become involved during their trip.

2. Transportation Services

Transportation services will be provided according to the client’s requirements under the modality:
Departure Point – Destination – Return, with the return normally being the same as the departure point.

Any deviation or additional stop not previously agreed upon will incur extra charges, calculated according to the company’s evaluation.

All luggage and personal items carried during transportation services are the sole responsibility of the user. The company is not responsible for loss, theft, damage, deterioration, or illegal acts related to luggage.

Train transportation services are operated by independent companies under their own regulations. SGA Expeditions is not responsible for any actions, measures, or unforeseen events related to train services.

The company is not responsible for legal problems or any inconvenience involving the traveler at the destination.

3. Payment Conditions

Accepted payment methods: cash (PEN or USD), credit/debit card (in person), or bank transfer.

Reservations can be made at our office: Calle San Andrés 218, Int. 216, Cusco, or by bank payment through accounts provided by our advisors.

Reservations must be made at least 30 business days in advance for international services and 5 business days for national services. Some programs may require more time, as indicated in their itinerary.

To confirm a reservation, a 50% deposit of the total cost is required. The remaining balance must be paid at least 7 days before the service begins.

Any modification to a reservation is subject to penalties and availability.

Prices and rates are subject to change without prior notice. Restrictions may apply according to the validity of each rate.

Cancellations must be requested at least 20 business days prior to the service date. Operational costs will be deducted according to services already paid (entrance tickets, train tickets, etc.).

Cancellations made one day before or on the day of service are non-refundable.

Services voluntarily not used will not be refunded.

A reservation is valid only when formally confirmed by the company and the full payment has been completed.
